Area Of Expertise
I have helped numerous companies grow from pre revenue to their first million dollar profit. Advised all the way from the first dollars of revenue through to successful exits.
My best investments have begun with an advisory relationship. I get to know you. You get to know me. I get to understand the business. The good, the bad and the ugly. I get to see how well we work together and the sort of value I can bring to your company. I only want to be invested in companies where I believe I will be an important member of the team and can actively drive the value of my investment. After we have worked together, if it makes sense for both of us, then the transition to investment is a logical progression.
I have helped companies with early stage capital. My own and assisting with raises. I typically play a role as an advisor or non executive director. The journey from start up to exit is typically 5-10 years so it is really important that the right people and investors are on board for the journey. I find investing in early stage companies both personally and financially rewarding. It's an exciting job to have, helping entrepreneurs make their dreams come true. Be they emergency physicians, software developers, personal trainers, industrial designers, psychologists or whatever role they have had before they became "The Founder".
